At Eye Gallery it is important to us that we have the best technology available to assist in monitoring the health of our patient’s eyes. Our retinal imaging devices allow for early detection of retinal diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Our virtual field goggles allow us to detect blind spots in the vision which could be caused by disease of the retina, optic nerve or even the brain.
The Optos Monaco is an ultra-widefield imaging device that provides a 200-degree image of the retina in a single capture. This state-of-the-art machine can also take cross-sectional scans and has an autofluorescence setting that allows for a more detailed analysis of retinal health.
The Canon CR2 Retinal Camera captures high-resolution digital images of the retina inside the back of the eye.
The Zeiss Cirrus HD-OCT (Optical Coherence Tomographer) uses light waves to take cross-sectional images of structures inside the eye.
The Virtual Field Goggles assess a patient’s visual field. This portable device allows testing to be conveniently completed in any room and chair.
